NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Like it or not, students at Tennessee colleges are part of a state program aimed at boosting graduation rates and that means having to deal with someone giving advice and monitoring progress.

Waves of bright-eyed freshmen are arriving on campuses around the state this week to find a safety net waiting to make sure they stay there until they graduate.
