Bristol, Tennessee pool has gone to the dogs

The Bristol, Tennessee Department of Parks and Recreation held its first ever dog swim on Tuesday night and they hope to make it an annual tradition.
Dogs of all shapes and sizes were welcomed into the cool waters of the Haynesfield Pool on Tuesday. The parks and recreation department says it has been a record breaking year for the pool in terms of swimmers and they thought it would be a great idea to cap off the summer by letting a few four legged friends take a dip.

Rumors are swirling that the Tennessee Titans and the Washington Redskins are having talks to deal Albert Haynesworth back to Nashville, Tenn.
If this deal goes down then it would be like the desperate girlfriend taking back the horrible boyfriend. He may seem like he's a good choice, but in all reality he's going to put you right back where you were when you first tried to get rid of him.

That is despite a statewide effort to curb over-prescribing that includes a controlled substance database meant to curb prescription drug abuse and education programs for physicians about proper prescribing practices.
"There has been a slow but steady decline," said Dr. Roland Gray, who teaches a proper prescribing class for the Tennessee Safety Prescription Program. "It's a difficult problem. A lot of drugs have legitimate uses, and people need medication and most are properly using those meds."

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Tennessee American Water announced today the start of a water main installation on Sawyer Street. This project, estimated to cost approximately $35,000, will replace about 300 feet of 2-inch galvanized water main installed nearly 80 years ago.
